Vintage Yamatogumi Korea 38th Parallel Metal Box Hinged Footed Made In JapanI am not an expert on metals or vintage boxes so I can't confidently identify what this box is made from, but Yamatogumi was known for its silver plate. Made post 1953. It is very sturdy. Hinges are tight with no squeaking and the feet are firmly affixed. However, it definitely shows its age. Please see photos. Previous owner was the wife of a WWII U.S. Army Lt. Col. If you have any questions, please ask.B2
