Authentic Titanic Wreck Wood from TitanicItems Collection/Artifacts exhibited at:- National Geographic Museum - Ronald Reagan National Presidential Library - Branson and Pigeon Forge Titanic Museums- NatGeo Documentary with James Cameron Supplier of Titanic Artifacts to trading card companies:- Panini America (wreck wood)- Cult-Stuff About the Wood:After the disaster in April 1912, the Cable Ship Minia was contracted by White Star Line to recover the dead. On board was ships carpenter, William Parker, who was known to take Titanic wreckage from the sea and make them into everyday useful items. He made a liquor cabinet for his Chief Officer. It stayed with the family until 1998 when it was sold to a Canadian Museum. Inside the cabinet, a yellow pine plank identified as part of Titanic's deck was removed and offered for individual sale early this century. This small wreck wood piece in the 2" plastic display was part of that plank. It has been on public exhibit at the Ronald Reagan National Library in Simi Valley, CA and at the National Geographic Titanic Museum Exhibit in Washington DC. COA: Each two-inch display is signed on the back by a respected 20-year established collector and researcher, well-known in the hobby. The attractive hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity details the wreck woods existence and fantastic journey through the years. Each sturdy display is a two-piece 2" x 2" (two inches) clear plastic snap case. Each comes with an acrylic display stand to hold your Titanic treasure upright for all to see. The wreck wood used in the photograph will not be the exact one shipped, actual piece may slightly vary in size, shape and color. Free US shipping will be standard first-class in a padded envelope for added protection. Handling time is typically one-day. If not 100% satisfied you may return it at your expense pursuant to eBay rules
