PAIR ANTIQUE VTG CARVED WOODEN BURMESE DRESSED THAI MARIONETTE STRING PUPPETs I don't know a lot about these except to describe them and pass on the research. They are hand carved wood and hand painted. The dress looks traditional and very well done. The hands and feet are still covered with paper, so I am not sure if these were ever used. They may have been stored away for a lot of years. I saw one other puppet like this one that sold, it was described as an antique. They stand about tall 22" tall.
