Beautifully made possibles pouch made on the Crow reservation in Southwest Montana in the 1960's. Acquired at the Crow Fair in Hardin, Mt by my father on one of his many buying trips. Excellent condition. This pouch has been on display in a cabinet since acquired with occasional trips to local schools for demonstration purposes. Beaded on brain tanned deer hide with tiny old time seed beads. Dimensions: approximately 12x 7.5 inchesMy parents were Native American Artifact Collectors and Traders operating in the later 1950's, 60's and 70's. They traveled to many reservations to exchange food, clothing, and salted deer hides for items to add to their collection. Those items were then displayed at schools to help bring awareness to the students about the cultures they wished to demonstrate.I am selling my collection to help pay for radiation expenses.I will insure this item for the full purchase price.
